Using Disc Cleanup

Saturday, March 13, 2010

The more you surf the Web, the more information is stored on your computer causing your system to slow down. Ton's and ton's of Temporary Internet files, downloaded program files, and numerous other files are stored in your computer for further use. These files can add up quickly and have an effect on your computers performance--simply put--get rid of them, and disc cleanup is a good start!

Go to START

Then Accessories

Then System Tools

And Disc Cleanup

You will usually be given your choice of drives (usually C) Hit OK. Once you have Hit OK, the system will ck for unnecessary files that will free up space, and give you the option to delete them. Once you have done this, I believe you will notice an immediate difference in your computer!!
